About the Tour
Hey!! Come join the ride…. Let’s cruise down the river through this oasis that is full of wildlife in the middle of Mangroves and Palms. Sloths that are nestled in trees, crocodiles, turtles sunbathing, lizards that run on water, species of birds, reptiles, insects and of course, White-faced Capuchin Monkeys. Come and I will take you on an unforgettable journey to learn about the intricacies of these monkeys and their environment. This lush Jungle eco-system is full of animals coexisting in the way nature unintended…
Our History
I am Diego i grew up by the beach on Damas Island a place close to Quepos Town, then I began to drive a boat as a taxi taking people to the beach or tours by the estuary and became a tour guide years later now it has been more than 20 years guiding in National Parks, mountains and Mangroves being this where I stayed the most doing boat tours.
I always had passion for animals and I wanted to know more about them and how they figure out to live their lives and for that I have been close to White face Capuchin Monkeys for a long time, I became curious and little by little and each day I started to follow them and learned how to identify them by looking at their faces and all their details, I started giving them names so I could see what was happening in their lives as a group and individually, I could see the hierarchy given in the group of monkeys and how they figure out the way to be the liders or even get expel of the Group and much more … I have been writing about them and I can share that with you so follow me on my blog of monkeys or come and see them by yourself….
